In-Person Therapy (The Therapy Room)

There’s something quietly powerful about having a space that’s just for you.

The therapy room offers a consistent, private environment where you can step away from the noise of everyday life and focus fully on yourself. No distractions, no multitasking - just a dedicated time and place to think, feel, and talk things through.

Why meet in the therapy room

For many people, being physically present in the same space adds a sense of grounding and connection.

It can help if you:

  • Value a clear boundary between “therapy time” and the rest of your life

  • Find it easier to focus away from home or work environments

  • Prefer face-to-face connection without a screen

  • Want a space that feels contained, steady, and uninterrupted

The room itself becomes part of the process ... an anchor, a place your mind and body begin to associate with slowing down and paying attention.

What it’s like

We sit together in a calm, confidential space and work at your pace. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words or to fill every silence. Sessions can be thoughtful, emotional, reflective ... or sometimes surprisingly ordinary.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just turning up is enough.

A few practical bits

  • Location: Sessions take place in a quiet, comfortable setting with privacy in mind

  • Consistency: Same space, same time each week, fortnight or monthly (where possible)

  • Easy Booking: you can go online and book a convenient time through my calendar : Individuals | Couples

  • Pace: There’s no rush ... this is your time

You don’t have to choose just one way

Some people prefer the consistency of the therapy room. Others combine it with online or Walk & Talk sessions depending on what feels most helpful.

We can find a way of working that fits you.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Not every meaningful conversation has to happen sitting still in a room.

Sometimes it works better side-by-side, moving forward - literally.

Walk & Talk Therapy is exactly what it sounds like: we take our session outdoors and talk while walking at a pace that suits you. No couch, no intense eye contact (we don't want to be falling into the Marine Lake...), and no pressure to sit still if that’s not your thing.

Why walking can make talking easier

There’s something about being outside and in motion that takes the edge off.

When we walk:

  • Conversations tend to flow more naturally

  • Silences feel less awkward (they’re just part of the walk)

  • It can feel less intense than sitting face-to-face

  • Your body gets to move instead of being “on display”

For many people ... especially if you find traditional therapy settings a bit formal, intense, or just not you ...this can make a real difference.

A good fit if you…

Walk & Talk Therapy might suit you if:

  • You think better when you’re moving

  • Sitting still for 50 minutes feels like a challenge

  • Eye contact-heavy conversations feel uncomfortable or draining

  • You find being outdoors calming or grounding

  • You want therapy to feel a bit more relaxed and human

It can be particularly helpful if you’re neurodivergent, but you don’t need any label or diagnosis to benefit from it.

What it’s like

We’ll agree on a local route that feels comfortable and manageable. Sessions are paced around you ...this isn’t a power walk. You can pause, sit, speed up, slow down, or change direction.

The focus is still the same as any therapy session: your thoughts, your experiences, and what matters to you. The only difference is… we’re not staring at four walls while we do it.

A few practical bits

  • Privacy: We choose quieter routes, but we are still in public spaces. If something sensitive comes up, we can pause or shift how we talk about it.

  • Weather: This is the UK (and The "4 seasons in 1 day" Wirral) so we plan with that in mind. Light rain is usually fine; storms and sideways rain, less so.

  • Accessibility: We’ll tailor routes to suit your mobility, energy levels, and comfort.

  • Easy Booking:  check out my availability and book in

You don’t have to choose just one way

Some people stick with Walk & Talk. Others mix it with in-room or online sessions depending on what they need that week.

Therapy doesn’t have to be one-size-fits-all—and this is just another way to make it work for you.

If you’re curious about trying it, we can talk it through and see if it feels like a good fit.

No hiking boots required.

Walk & Talk Therapy

I feel very fortunate to live here on the Wirral Peninsula, there are so many gorgeous locations to do the Walk and Talk Therapy Sessions.

3. Online Therapy on The Wirral, and across The UK and some International locations

Online Therapy via Zoom
🎧 Transform your wellbeing with Online Therapy Sessions Via Zoom
  • Individual Therapy

- £60 for 50 minute session

  • Couples Counselling

- £100 for a 75 minute session

- £80 for a 50 minute session

Therapy doesn’t have to happen in a therapy room to be effective. Online therapy offers a flexible, accessible way to meet ... wherever you feel most comfortable.

For some people, being in their own space makes it easier to open up. You might feel more at ease on your own sofa, with a cup of tea, rather than travelling to my therapy room and settling into an unfamiliar space. It can also make therapy more consistent —no commuting, fewer logistical hurdles, and easier to fit into busy or unpredictable schedules.

Why online therapy can work

Although it can feel different at first, online therapy can be just as meaningful and connected as in-person work.

It can help if you:

  • Prefer being in your own environment

  • Have a busy schedule or limited time to travel

  • Experience anxiety around leaving the house or attending appointments

  • Need more flexibility week to week

For some, the screen actually creates a sense of safety ... like having a bit more control over the space and pace of the session.

What it’s like

We meet via secure video, at a time we’ve agreed. The session itself isn’t that different from being in the room ... we talk, reflect, pause, and explore what’s going on for you.

You can sit, move around, wrap yourself in a blanket, or even take the session from your car if that’s the only quiet place available (it happens more often than you’d think).

A few practical bits

  • Privacy: It’s important you have a space where you feel able to talk freely

  • Tech: A stable internet connection and a device with camera/audio are needed (we keep it simple)

  • Boundaries: We’ll still start and end on time, just as we would in person

  • Easy Booking: Check out my calendar and book in when it suits you : Individuals | Couples

You don’t have to choose just one way

Some people prefer to stay online. Others mix online sessions with in-person or Walk & Talk, depending on what they need and where they are.

Therapy can adapt to your life—not the other way around.

4. Couples Therapy - Home Visits on The Wirral Peninsula

🏡 Bringing Couples Therapy to you : Home Visits
  • Couples Counselling

- £100 for a 75 minute session

- £80 for a 50 minute session

Sometimes it helps to work on your relationship in the place where it actually happens.

Couples home visits offer therapy in your own space, rather than a clinic or online setting. That might be your living room, your kitchen table, or wherever you both feel most at ease. Being at home can take away some of the formality of therapy and allow us to focus on what’s really going on, in a setting that’s familiar to you both.

Why work together at home

For some couples, leaving the house for therapy can feel like an extra hurdle—or it can shift things into a slightly artificial space. Meeting at home can make the work feel more relevant and immediate.

It can help if you:

  • Find it hard to coordinate schedules or travel together

  • Feel more comfortable talking in your own environment

  • Want support applying changes in real-life situations

  • Notice that patterns show up most clearly at home (which is often the case)

There’s also something useful about being in the space where day-to-day dynamics unfold—it can bring a different level of awareness to how you relate to each other.

What it’s like

I come to you, and we create a space to talk that feels as private and uninterrupted as possible. We’ll sit together and work through whatever you’re navigating - communication, conflict, disconnection, or simply feeling stuck.

There’s no expectation for your home to be “perfect” or presentation-ready. Real life is welcome here - and I'm happy to be in amongst the 'friendly' cats and dogs.

A few practical bits

  • Privacy: We’ll need a space where you can talk openly without interruptions

  • Boundaries: Sessions still have a clear start and end time

  • Environment: We may gently adjust where we sit or how the space is used to support the conversation

  • Easy Booking: Check out my. calendar and book in when it suits you both

A slightly different way of working

Being in your own home can shift the dynamic in a helpful way ... it’s your space, and that matters.

At the same time, therapy still offers structure, reflection, and support to help you both move forward.

If this feels like it might suit you, we can talk through the details and see if it’s a good fit.

Living Room

You don't have to do life alone

- therapy gives you a space to breathe, reflect and be fully yourself.

Support that meets you where you are.

A calm space to talk, feel, and grow.
